The Weyerhaeuser Endowment Fund supports the Pacific Bonsai Museum which was created to serve as a cultural and educational resource for the Puget Sound region and beyond. It is one of only two museums in the United States solely dedicated to bonsai.

The PNW Native Lacrosse fund at Greater Tacoma Community Foundation is designed to bolster the efforts of the Pacific Northwest Native Lacrosse Club (PNWNLC) in engaging Native youth with lacrosse, emphasizing its Indigenous roots as the Creator's Game. This initiative supports hosting lacrosse camps and clinics within tribal communities, establishing competitive all-Native travel teams for regional tournaments, and promoting Native lacrosse heritage online. On Thursday, March 9th, a resident at the Tacoma Housing Authority’s (THA) property, The Rise at 19th, vandalized the building’s fire suppression system which resulted in significant flooding throughout the building. The fire department responded quickly and managed to shut off the water in a timely manner, however, the damaged system had already flooded approximately 75% of the building. THA staff immediately began relocating residents to nearby hotels, and remediation services were brought in to assess and repair the damage. During this process, 50 of the 64 units in the building were identified as impacted by the flooding and will need significant repairs. The total amount of damage is estimated to be between $3-5 million, and repairs will take weeks to complete. As of Monday, March 13th, all residents in impacted units have been temporarily relocated to hotels, or with family and friends. All of the displaced residents qualify as low-income, and many are elderly, disabled, veterans, or families with young children. THA is asking for donations that will go directly to those impacted by the flooding.

To protect public access along Tacoma's waterfront from the south end of the 11th Street Bridge (Murray Morgan Bridge) on the East side of Thea Foss waterway to the shoreline along the south end of Dock Street and all the way to Point Defiance Park along Tacoma's waterfront.

Music was central to Ben Faigin’s life. Ben started his music training as a toddler, played in orchestras and chamber groups, and later expanded his repertoire to guitar and piano. The Ben Faigin Music Opportunity Fund was established to provide young musicians from under-represented communities and low-income families with scholarship support, and prizes for concert-ready young artists to further their training.

The Black Homeownership Legacy Fund is designed to be what other similar funds are not. That is accessible by community based nonprofit organizations (CBOs) or emerging homeownership developers who are Black owned/led working with CBOs and are not yet able to meet requirements of traditional funds. They are the ones best positioned to transform our delivery system of affordable homeownership homes and carry out buyer identification and support homeownership activities that benefit low- and moderate-income Black households in King and Pierce Counties.

By giving to the City of Tacoma Rental Assistance Fund, you are helping to provide emergency rental assistance to households located within the City of Tacoma impacted by COVID-19 who are at risk of losing their housing. The Jon Crawford Memorial Fund was created to support the participation and attendance of youth, disabled as well as underprivileged, in sports, sporting events, and outdoor adventures. The Camille Love Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2011 in memory of Camille Love, who was killed in 2009. This fund supports Pierce College students who are interested in the Vet Tech Program.

The Gaven Seastrum Memorial Scholarship Fund was created in 2020 in memory of Gaven, a student at Graham Kapowsin High School. It provides post-secondary funding opportunities for graduating seniors from Graham Kapowsin High School who are interested in pursuing a career in civil service.

The Paul Healy Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1985 as a memorial to Paul Healy by his beloved family. The scholarship supports Stadium High School seniors who have demonstrated talent in the field of literature, poetry, and writing.

The Rob Meline's "The Right Stuff" Bethel Scholarship Fund was created in memory of Rob Meline, who taught in the Bethel School District. The scholarship is to be awarded to a high school graduate from the Bethel School District who intends to study math or science at a public or private, two-year or four-year college or vocational school.

The Dr. & Mrs. James P. Duffy Family Scholarship supports Sumner High School graduating seniors who embody the traits, characteristics or career aspirations valued by the Duffy family.

The Thomas Eagle Michlitsch-Rambo Memorial Scholarship was established by Shannon Michlitsch in memory of her son, Thomas Eagle Michlitsch-Rambo, a senior at Lakes High School. This fund honors Thomas' legacy by providing scholarships to graduating students at Lakes High School who have college education expenses and are experiencing financial need.

The Xavier Cooper - Everyone Learns Differently Scholarship provides financial assistance to qualified students with learning impairment or disabilities, students who struggle in school due to social and personal challenges, and/or to students who have experienced time in the juvenile justice system who are pursuing higher education at a college, university, community or technical college in the United States.
